The Madawaska Valley Studio Tour, held every autumn, offers the discriminating art and craft lover a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, browsing country studios filled with the exciting arts and crafts of talented artisans. The annual Madawaska Valley Studio Tour to showcase artisans original work to the public. Some studios are open year round, some seasonally, others by appointment, but all are open during the studio tour. This is the highlight of the year for most studios. There is always something new. |

| Algonquin Art Centre | ||
Algonquin Art Centre, locater at Km 20, has a variety of products and attractions, the Art Centre appeals to the whole spectrum of Park Visitors, stimulating the appetite of each individual’s personal taste. The Algonquin Art Centre has an indoor gallery, consisting of three wings and a boutique, as well as an outdoor gallery. Visitors are invited also to engage in the artistic process by dropping in to The Creation Station. Here, facilitated art activities stimulate the inherent creative genius that exists in everyone. Learn about nature through art with these fun, educational exercises designed for all ages and skill levels.

The Visitor Centre located at km 43. Opened in 1993 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Algonquin Park and the entire Ontario provincial park system, the centre has world class exhibits on the Park's natural and human history, an excellent bookstore and "The Algonquin Room" featuring ongoing exhibitions of Algonquin art. A theatre presentation sums up the Park story and then takes you out to the viewing deck from where you can admire a breathtaking panorama of wild Algonquin landscape. |
| Algonquin Logging Museum | ||
| Just inside the East Gate, the Algonquin Logging Museum brings the story of logging to life from the early square timber days to the last of the great river drives. Start your tour with a video presentation that sums up the logging history of the Algonquin area. On the easy to walk 1.3 km trail, a recreated camboose camp and a fascinating steam-powered amphibious tug called an "alligator" are among the many displays. Take a step back in time and learn about this very colourful aspect of Algonquin's human history. The Algonquin Logging Museum also has an excellent bookstore.
