Annica is trained as a Registered Nurse, Shiatsu Therapist and Acupuncturist. Vern (male) is also a Shiatsu Therapist and colleague of Annica's, working alternate days. The Treatment Hut is near Gertrude's Art Studio, both on the property. Additionally, you can make use of our fitness room and sauna in the main lodge. Everything you need to treat your body right.

We invite you to begin your relaxing spa experience in the comfort of your accommodations with the use of any wet treatment (sauna, steam bath, hot-tub or Jacuzzi) in your room just prior to your appointment. When we arrive please have on loose comfortable clothing if you are having Shiatsu Therapy, Thai-Yoga or Body Molding. For Facials and Body wraps you will just have on your robe and an undergarment. All treatments include our, his and her Elixirs and a fragrant Therapeutic Bath for your private leisure. Then let romance awaken the spirit for longevity in life.

Appointments can be made for up to 2 people at a time in your accommodation.
Appointments are scheduled every 2 hours from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm.
We will be with you for approximately 1 1/2 hours which includes setting up and taking down equipment.
Facials with wraps add an extra 1/2 hour.

Fifty percent of the full treatment price will be charged for cancellations and/or changes made less than four hours prior to the appointment time

Shiatsu Therapy - Shiatsu is Japanese, and is a non-invasive physical therapy designed to stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. The technique involves the systematic application of manual pressure to the body in order to create a regulatory influence on the autonomic nervous system, thereby producing improved organ function and reduced muscle tension. This deep muscle treatment will bring to awareness any problem areas in the body and leave you with a distinct feeling of what the muscles were like before and the change in them after. Thai-Yoga Massage - A Therapeutic Massage, both interactive and calming, is the best way to describe this experience. Signature Chinese 5 Element Clay Facial & Body Wrap- We believe radiant skin comes from an inner energetic balance. Combining beauty nectars, youth serums and precious minerals for the skin the highlight of this treatment is when the 5 Element clays are painted on your face back and abdomen in zones that correspond with the major organs in your body to deliver a relaxing, rejuvenating, healing experience that not only your face will enjoy but your body as well.
Chinese 3 Element Clay Wrap and Facial - same as above with 3 clay masks of the Energy Trilogy (Yin or Yang) applied to body and face and Violet clay on the legs and arms.
Seasonal Clay Wrap and Facial - Uses the element clays of, Earth, Fire, Wood, Metal or Water that corresponds to the season to rebalance and revitalize.
Violet Clay Body Wrap - The violet color of this clay is filled with vitality, therefore harmonizing and rebalancing the energies of the body. The mask is composed primarily of natural white clay (Kaolin) whose properties are anti-inflammatory and relaxing and very rich in minerals, thus helping to remineralize the skin. Essential oils of lemon, lavender, cinnamon leaf, cypress, thyme, sweet marjoram and ylang-ylang are infused in this clay which allows for complete body care.
St. Michel Mud Wrap - A good après sport treatment. Collected from the Bay of Mont St. Michel at low tide, this marine mud is naturally rich in sulpher and other trace elements, which have medically proven benefits for the body. The mud can either be used through immersion for deep relaxation and detoxification or applied locally to soothe and relieve achy tired muscles or to alleviate pain from sprains and other injuries. The skin will be silky soft and soul stress free. Remineralizing Wrap - Created to boost the body's absorption of essential elements, this revitalizing wrap will induce perspiration to encourage elimination of toxins and excess fluids from water retention while nourishing the body with minerals such as iodine and magnesium. The result is nourished and remineralized skin.
Algoderm Facial - combines the highly penetrating qualities of trace minerals and the nourishing and remineralizing action of algae. Esserines are added to suit your needs.

Visit Annica to ease stress and pain. "While your partner is off on an adventure come and visit me. I will take your tension away. Shiatsu is a Japanese technique of hand pressure to the body. This form of therapy has been used for centuries in Japan to relax and improve general health. Using the proper pressure on different locations of the muscles can bring a great release in tension. You will feel pampered and ready to enjoy a special evening."
For shiatsu, wear loose clothing (a sweatshirt or t-shirt and tights or sweat pants). Do not wear shorts or jeans if having more than a half-hour treatment. The cost for shiatsu is $80 for a half hour upper body treatment, $120 for a 1 hour body treatment, and $150 for a 1.5 hour complete body treatment.
Your Group Insurance coverage may include shiatsu therapy.
Alternatively, Annica can provide acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture is a Chinese medical treatment using very fine needles. If you suffer pain and discomfort, then this treatment is recommended and may be highly beneficial. The cost is $150 for 1 hour.
In a beautiful cedar sunroom you will find free-weights, benches, a bike machine, an elliptical machine, a concept2 rowing machine and a tread mill. The sunroom also has all the amenities with washrooms and showers, TV and VCR for work out videos, mats, and a drink cooler. After your workout or at the end of your day, revive your soul in the sauna. The heat will soothe your muscles and purify your skin . . . Perfect! From here you have easy access to the outdoor Jacuzzi or the heated salt-water pool. Relax and melt away, or do a few laps, it is all yours.
