NOVEMBER or DECEMBER Snowfall JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH to APRIL
Hot tubs at sunrise"Sunrise in your private hot tub, breakfast in bed, and ice hiking through Algonquin Park. Relax with couples massages, cozy fires, and romantic dinners. Your perfect winter escape, all about indulgence and connection."
Early rise to slip into your private Hot Tub to welcome a new day!
8:30 - 9:30 Breakfast in Bed, with duvet close and bathrobes on, so indulgent in starting the day!
After Breakfast time get the Algonquin Park Free Pass from the Office and the IceHiking Crampons
and Hiking Poles from the Sport Centre then head off to go IceHiking on an Algonquin Park Trail.
Try your 1st trail, the Algonquin Park Logging Museum, it is fairly flat and a good place to get
your comfort for how easy it is to walk with Crampons and Hiking Poles. Of course this Logging
Museum trail is a short outdoor walk with very informative displays, you will be in awe at the
early ingenuity. Then take a second trail, we like the Spruce Bog Boardwalk as it is also fairly
flat and a great walk through a wilderness marsh. Finally head off to the Algonquin Park Visitors
Centre to continue with learning about Algonquin Park's History as it is quite informative in its
displays about nature and culture. Back by 3pm, time to slide back into the Hot Tub, it is needed
now to get any chill out of your body. Late afternoon time to spoil and touch, take a 1/2 hour
each massaging your partner's body (bring your favourite oil) followed by taking a couples shower
to wash off the oil. I'm ready for a quick nap, I am excellent at it and asleep in 5 minutes, but
set your timer for maximum 30 minute nap so you have energy for the evening. Prepare and dress
your sharpest for a Resort romantic dinner, bring a big appetite.
Make sure you put your fireplace on tonight, it is the end to a perfect day.
Day Two we can do one longer trail, the Bike Trail at Mew Lake Campground, walk out as far as you
wish and return the same path, serene. We can also add in a Spa Indulgence this day as there will
be time.
Day Three greatly depends if we actually have enough snow with no icy conditions to do Traditional
winter sports like Winter Horseback Riding, Cross Country Skiing, Ice Skating or Snow Shoeing.
In 2017, and 2018 there was not enough snow, so come this year to IceHike to get outside and enjoy
the majestic Algonquin Nature and maybe we will get snow!

Return for a gourmet breakfast, relax in your private hot tub, and prepare for an indulgent afternoon of spa time, couples massage, and a romantic dinner.
Hiking on an Algonquin Park Trail, 7am, just as dawn lights the sky. First trail is Spruce Bog Trail which is a boardwalk trail, so it is safer first in the morning, and shorter, a good wake up. Second trail is Look out Trail as the daylight shines out over the Algonquin contours. Third trail is Beaver Pond Trail with all its roots and rocks and incredible topography of Algonquin.
Remember to access the Algonquin Park Free Pass the evening before the day you go, so that you can start off early at 6:45am. Plan to be back for Breakfast at 10am for a tasty breakfast, and time to edit your incredible photos. Now, after breakfast, time for a long Nap. Spending time in your own private Hot Tub. Late afternoon time to spoil and touch, take a 1/2 hour each massaging your partners body (bring your favourite oil) followed by taking a couples shower to wash off the oil. Prepare and dress your sharpest for a Resort romantic dinner, bring a big appetite. Day Two is sleeping in marginally longer and doing only one trail, the Booth Rock Trail, at 7:30am, with superb information of Algonquin Park's History and a Special Vista.
Day Three is Spa and Horseback day, yippeee. Take a walk into and around quaint, peaceful Whitney, looking at Stores and Art Galleries, maybe even buying an Original Oil Painting from Gertrude. Must admit we have several of her paintings adorning our home walls.

END OF JUNE - JULY - to MID AUGUST Canoeing at Dawn Glide across the calm waters at sunrise, surrounded by mist and wildlife. Return for a leisurely breakfast, refreshing lake swims, and afternoons between your private hot tub and Rosè by the dock—ending with spa indulgence and a romantic dinner.
Canoeing or Kayaking at the first glimmer of light, 6am, while the lake is at its calmest. Stay close to the shoreline on the way out as it is magical and notice the small wildlife.
Day one and Day two, each morning a different shore line, one morning along the Resort-side up to and around Mud Bay, the next day across the lake around Hay Creek outlet up to and past the Algonquin Park Boundary. Remember to access the paddles and lifejackets the afternoon before the day you go, so that you can slip off early at 6am.
Plan to be back for Breakfast at 10am for a tasty breakfast, and time to edit your incredible photos. Now, after breakfast, time for a long Nap.
About 2pm head down for swimming in our clear warm lake off the long dock. Clasp your hands together and scoop up the water and see how clear it is. July lake water is usually around 24'C through the whole period, we think this is quite enjoyable. Best part is to mix up the swimming in the Lake with going back and spending time in your own private Hot Tub and laying on one's own chaise lounge chairs while eating fruits, cheese and complimented with Rosè wine. Late afternoon time to spoil and touch, take a 1/2 hour each massaging your partners body (bring your favourite oil) followed by taking a couples shower to wash off the oil. Prepare and dress your sharpest for a Resort romantic dinner, bring a big appetite.
Day three is Spa day and we are so ready for this. Take a walk into and around quaint, peaceful Whitney, looking at Original Art Galleries and at some new moccasins.
